The Greater Brockton Area Attire for Hire offers low to
moderate income individuals free,
appropriate, professional clothing and accessories for job
interviews. The shop also provides opportunities for building
self-esteem, practicing job skills, and learning how to
operate a business.
Organizations donating or referring customers can be sure that all
services will be furnished in a professional, respectful and
courteous manner.

What can Attire for Hire do for you?
We can provide you with an outfit of appropriate clothes
to wear to a job interview to help you make a good,
first impression.

Why is that important to me?
You only get one chance to make a first impression.

How people perceive you depends on how
you present yourself.
Most people make judgment calls in 30 seconds upon meeting another
person. A clean cut, well-dressed job applicant can make a positive
impression in those first few seconds.

How can I get clothes at Attire for Hire?
You need a referral from an agency and a scheduled job interview. Your
caseworker can refer you to us by making out the referral slip & giving us
a call. All you need to do is come down to the store with your referral &
we will help you find appropriate clothes for a job interview. If you get
the job you can return for a second outfit for the "first day of work".

What's the catch?
There is none. We only ask that at sometime in the future you return the
favor by donation your time, money, or gently used professional clothes to
Attire for Hire when you are able. This is not a requirement. We ask, so that
we can help other people in your position find their own way in to the work force.

Volunteers Needed!
We need volunteers to staff the store. If you like working with people
